Joey (Joseph) was a gentle soul and a friend to anyone he met. His smile persisted no matter our toil and was subject to singing when least expected. We spent what seemed like endless hours together working on drama productions building sets, rehearsing, cast parties and the like. There were many late nights breakfast runs at Shoney's and an occasional beer or two at LUMS. Joey admirably involved himself in many aspects of school life not limiting himself to any one lane. Joey's out-going nature was infectious and lifted spirits; a rare trait to celebrate and cherish.
