Still playing with old cars. Lucky to stiill be here LOL. Retired and moved to North Myrtle Beach. It was always my go to place in high school and college.
I am a nostalgic nut that still loves the 60's. I miss the friends I made in school but am fortunate enough to still have contact with some great poeple.

I bought the original chevrolet dealership building in Loris, SC ( 20 miles up hwy 9) and have worked on remodeling it back to the look it was in the early days. I also have collected many parts of a Mayberry type musem for the building. I just cant stop doing something.

My passion is still standing in front of a class of new policemen stressing officer safety and officer survival. Im so furtunate that the highway patrol allows me to come to each school and be the walking talking poster child for what can happen when you least expect it.

I guess those english classes at East gave me the basics for writing and I have enjoyed publishing one book with second book almost ready. I have also written articles for magazines and made training videos for officers. I never make any money off any book, publication or lecture. The good Lord left me here for a reason and I don't believe it was to profit from his grace.

Enjoy life, there is no guarentee on tomorrow!

James Harris Bost, Jr. passed away on March 20, 2008 after a long illness.Jay as he was known, had a red firebird in high school and the first thing he did was have me replace the muffler with a loud glass pack muffler. We raced all of the time with Bill Barr. He worked for the City of Charlotte for many years and was originally from Wadesboro, North Carolina.
